Mumbai: Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff suffered minor injuries after unidentified assailants opened fire at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Following the incident, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached Tiger Shroff’s residence late Sunday night to meet the actor and assure him of government support.
Pictures from Tiger Shroff’s home showed the actor with bandages on his shoulder, chest and right hand while he interacted with Eknath Shinde. Tiger’s mother Ayesha Shroff was also present during the meeting.
The actor was targeted while he was leaving a football club in Juhu on Sunday evening. According to police officials, the firing took place around 7 pm when unidentified attackers opened fire at his vehicle. Tiger escaped without any bullet injury, but suffered injuries due to gunpowder and broken glass fragments. His driver and another person were also injured in the incident.
Eknath Shinde Assures Strict Action Against Attackers
After meeting Tiger Shroff, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde condemned the firing incident and assured that strict action would be taken against those involved.
Shinde said that around five rounds were fired during the attack, but fortunately the actor remained safe. He added that Tiger and his family were shaken after the incident and assured them that the state government would provide all necessary support.
The Deputy CM said that threats and attempts to intimidate public figures would not be tolerated. He also recalled that Mumbai had witnessed gang-related violence in the past but assured that such activities would be dealt with firmly.
Police Launch Investigation Into Juhu Firing Case
According to Mumbai Police officials, the incident took place under the jurisdiction of Juhu Police Station. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that Tiger Shroff was leaving a football club when his car was targeted.
Police teams have started investigating the matter and are working to identify the attackers. The motive behind the firing and the involvement of any criminal network are also being examined.

The firing incident has once again raised concerns over the security of Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai. After the attack, security measures around Tiger Shroff and other high-profile personalities have been reviewed.
