Mumbai: After making a successful Bollywood debut with Saiyaara, Ahaan Panday is set to return to the big screen with another romantic drama. Yash Raj Films has officially announced Beparwah, starring Ahaan alongside Sharvari Wagh in the lead roles. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film marks the first on-screen pairing of the two young actors.
The makers unveiled the film’s motion poster on Monday, confirming that Beparwah will hit cinemas worldwide on March 26, 2027, coinciding with the Good Friday holiday weekend.
First Poster Hints at an Intense Love Story
The newly released poster teases a visually striking romantic drama. Ahaan Panday appears in a black leather jacket and jeans, carrying a gun, with visible bruises on his face and hands, hinting at an action-packed narrative. Sharvari Wagh is seen holding a guitar as the duo stands against a dramatic sunset backdrop. While the chemistry between the characters is evident, the makers have deliberately kept both actors’ faces hidden, adding an element of mystery.
The announcement was accompanied by the tagline: “Fearless in love… Beparwah.”
Ahaan’s Next Big Step After ‘Saiyaara’
Beparwah marks Ahaan Panday’s second feature film after the commercial success of Saiyaara, where he starred opposite Aneet Padda. The debut film received a positive response from audiences, and the pair’s on-screen chemistry became a major talking point.
This time, Ahaan will be seen opposite Sharvari Wagh, making it a fresh pairing that has already generated excitement among moviegoers.
Ali Abbas Zafar and YRF Reunite Again
Produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner, Beparwah is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The project marks the fifth collaboration between the filmmaker and YRF after successful films including Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Gunday, Sultan, and Tiger Zinda Hai.
While the storyline and character details remain under wraps, reports suggest Bobby Deol and Aishwarya Thackeray could also feature in key roles, though the makers have not officially confirmed the extended cast.
Sharvari’s Busy Line-Up
Sharvari Wagh was recently seen in YRF’s spy thriller Alpha alongside Alia Bhatt, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor. She is also gearing up for the release of Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film Yeh Prem Mol Liya, scheduled to release on November 27, 2026.
With a promising cast, an acclaimed director, and the backing of Yash Raj Films, Beparwah is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated romantic dramas of 2027.
