Neha Kakkar Defends Use of Auto-Tune in Singing Shows
Singing reality shows have often faced criticism over post-production enhancements, emotional storytelling and allegations of favouritism towards contestants. Addressing the use of auto-tune, Neha said that it is a common part of music production and does not mean audiences are being misled.
She explained that almost every singer’s track goes through some level of processing and compared it to filters used on photographs before sharing them online. According to her, contestants perform live and their performances are enhanced during post-production to improve the final output.
“Every Emotion Touches Me,” Says Neha on Emotional Moments
Neha has frequently been trolled for becoming emotional during contestants’ personal stories. Responding to those who question the authenticity of her reactions, she said that some people create negativity on social media only to gain attention.
The singer shared that her own struggles in life help her connect with people’s emotions. She said that when she sees someone going through difficulties, she naturally feels their pain.
Neha Says Music Trolling Does Not Bother Her
Neha Kakkar and her brother Tony Kakkar have often faced criticism for their pop songs, with some social media users targeting their catchy tunes and lyrics.
Talking about the criticism, Neha said that people often ignore songs like Mile Ho Tum Humko, O Humsafar and Khuda Bhi Jab Tumhe because there is little room for negativity around well-written songs.
She added that their fun and entertaining tracks become frequent targets because they create discussions. According to Neha, people may troll these songs online but still enjoy dancing to them.
Neha Kakkar Talks About Marriage Rumours With Rohanpreet Singh
While Neha is prepared for criticism related to her music, she admitted that false rumours about her personal life hurt her.
She said that pregnancy rumours and speculation about her divorce from Rohanpreet Singh make her uncomfortable. However, she also acknowledged that such discussions often become part of celebrity life.
Clearing the air about her relationship, Neha said that she and Rohanpreet share a strong bond based on friendship, love and happiness. The couple is completing seven years together this year, and she described their relationship as more like a friendship filled with fun and companionship.
